I'm not sure it's "our own power" to run with what God has given us. Actually, I think it is allowing ourselves to live in God's power to run with the areas he made us strong.

Did God make me this way? Did God intend for the person I am to have those talents? If so, then I think God would want me to maximize the potential of those talents for his kingdom....that is the power he already puts inside of us.

and the wonderful caveat of walking with God is that even our weaknesses can be overcome or made strong in him.

We are superhumans. Strong in our strengths. Holy Spirit strong in our weaknesses.

i think it was paul who talked about when we're weak, he is strong. He was trying to work the bugs out in corinth.

I think how we define our stregnths and weaknesses makes a difference, but surely there is this whole "great reverse" concept in the new testament (perhaps especially matthew 5)...though I wonder if our purpose is to magnify the kingdom, or work out the great reverse in ourselves...

i definitely do see your strengths in these things listed.

i have this question.. can a strength become a weakness?
can we be too self confident, too analytical, too deliberate?

you know how jesus talks about how it is in our weakness that we are made strong? how does something like that truth fit into life?

i understand the value of knowing your strengths, but what if we rely too heavily on our strengths? thus we lead a life living out of our own power, or what we are naturally just good at. then where is god?

i'd like to read a weakness finder and see where i really need god....
